'Good books for bad children' contributor Laura T. Coffey posted a blog entry about the subversiveness of children's books. She picked nine books that she said encourages children to "stick it to the man," including "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak, "Curious George" by H.A. Rey and "The Lorax" and "Yertle the Turtle" by Dr Seuss.

Do you agree with her assessment? What books got you thinking for yourself when you were a kid?
