Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library has planned a 1K fun walk fundraiser for Sept. 8, which coincides with the Friends of the Library book sale at Willoughby Library on Sept. 7, 8 and 10.

The walk is from 9 to 11 a.m. at Classic Park in Eastlake, and includes door prizes, games, crafts and more — as well as the opportunity to meet Skipper of the Lake County Captains, and the Cat in the Hat. Click here to download the pledge form.

The book sale takes place during library hours at the library, 30 Public Square. In addition to the book sale, the Friends of the Library will be raffling baskets. Raffle tickets go on sale Sept. 7 during library hours.
