Organic gardening and starting your garden by seed Thursday, March 6, 7 p.m.
Organic gardening is great, but to be successful, you need to be armed with the proper information. Join Jeff Griff, owner of Lowe’s Greenhouse, as he presents on organic gardening solutions and how to start a garden by seed.  
In her footsteps: Finding her ancestors Monday, March 10, 7 p.m.
Follow Sandra Beane-Milton’s genealogical journey to the home of the family who owned her ancestors. A GCPL staff member with a passionate interest in genealogy, Beane-Milton will share the story of two families, one black, one white – and how their lives intertwined in fascinating connections. Her research of these two families spans 200 years and hundreds of miles as she walked in their footsteps.  
The best they could be: How the Cleveland Indians became the Kings of Baseball from 1916 – 1920 Thursday, March 13, 7 p.m.
Just in time for opening day, local baseball historian Scott Longert discusses his new book about how the Cleveland Indians brought the world championship to their city of passionate fans in a spectacular style that has yet to be replicated. Books will be available for signing.
